BUENA VISTA COUNTY CREP WETLAND
This project was given special recognition with it being the 100th CREP project completed in Iowa. The construction involved using sheet pile weir outlets and drawdown structures to create a wetland consisting of both deep and shallow water and re-laying drainage district tiles. HUMBOLDT COUNTY DD#6 MAIN & BRANCH B TILE IMPROVEMENTS
Something unique to this project was that by establishing separate outlets for the Main Tile and Branch B tile, we were able to simplify the reclassification report. Before, people in Branch B were paying for using the lower part of the Main Tile to get their drainage to the Open Ditch. This project was constructed at a 1" coefficient which means the system will drain 1" of water over an entire watershed in 24 hours. Click on the link below to watch Nels Pederson Co in action.
O'BRIEN COUNTY DD#5 DITCH CLEANOUT
